Zephyr Beauty Experts “ZBE” believes in your vision and wants to help you make it a reality. We are your experts in prestige brand beauty management and North American distribution. At ZBE, we understand the challenges and struggles that beauty brands face while trying to create, sell, and distribute their products. ZBE has the expertise to help you do everything while maintaining a budget and boosting sales. ZBE specializes in product development, brand strategy, manufacturing logistics, marketing and selling in the prestige beauty industry.
After working together for almost 10 years on numerous brands, Liz and Rich founded Zephyr Beauty Experts in 2017. Liz and Rich have worked on marketing and selling several fragrance brands including Oscar de la Renta, Kate Spade, Perry Ellis and Mercedes Benz. ZBE utilizes their complementary skill set to ensure that the financial details, manufacturing logistics, sales and marketing approach will position your brand successfully. ZBE has seen tremendous success in its short tenure growing its revenue by at least 50% in the last three years.

ZBE prides itself on having an extensive sales team of over 600+ individuals across the country who are dedicated to selling their products. The sales team includes a National Sales Manager as well as Regional Sales Managers positioned across the country, each managing an extensive in-store sell through team. ZBE provides the sales team with in-store training, brand specific selling information, and plans for special store events. ZBE recruits and employs experts in each category of beauty, to include not only fragrance, but color cosmetics and skincare. These Selling Specialists are key in driving retail sell through success.
The ZBE Advantage
ZBE provides assistance with business strategies and financial planning, day to day brand management, prestige retail sell in and sell through, manufacturing, distribution, sales staffing and education, and brand repositioning.
ZBE offers clients two different packages. Each package includes different aspects of the product development to market process. All packages are flexible — we customize the specifics to fit the needs of our clients.
This package covers the entire selling process. ZBE manages the demand chain process from bringing your product to market through sales to retail customers. This option includes all of the following:
- Product placement and creation of retailer selling plans including negotiating marketing programs, managing freelance spend and allocating promotional items
- Assisting with chargebacks via retail payment into correct financial accounts
- Seasonal forecasting by unit provided and actualized monthly
- Retail sales and instore recaps distributed monthly
This package gives the client access to the 600+ sales team across the country. ZBE will ensure that sale specialists in stores are trained and managedaccording to a mutually agreed upon agreement. This option includes all of the following:
- Recruit, train and manage in store sales force
- Provide monthly instore recaps

RICH ADAMS
Rich is Founder/Board Member of Zephyr Beauty Experts. Prior to founding ZBE Beauty, Rich spent over 15 years at beauty start up, HTI Collection, as Vice President. At HTI, Rich was responsible for coordinating and running a national sales force, developing and executing marketing ideas and events, and forecasting and driving product manufacturing and shipments. Preceding HTI, Rich worked as Senior Account Executive at Riviera Concepts of America managing brands such as Bob Mackie, Adrienne Vittadini and Nicole Miller and before this, Rich worked in buyer, management, and regional management roles for several large department stores. Rich received a B.S. in Humanities from Western Oregon University.
ELIZABETH ROSE-POLEWAY
Liz is a Founder/Board Member of Zephyr Beauty Experts. Prior to founding ZBE Beauty, Liz worked as a Senior Advisor/CFO for several small to mid-size companies helping to build the go-to-market and sales strategies including Horizon Beauty Group and Cosmolux. As a Senior Advisor, Liz was responsible for sourcing and manufacturing new products, creating sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring the success of product placement. Preceding this role, Liz held several high ranking roles over 20 years including Managing Director of The Liz Claiborne Cosmetics International Division, COO of Parfum Givenchy/Marc Jacobs/Michael Kors/ Kenneth Cole fragrances North America, Vice President of Finance for Liz Claiborne Non Apparel Divisions, and Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning at Coach. Liz received a B.S. in Accounting from Hofstra University.
